Do I need an account to use Ares Chat?

No. Ares Chat does not require an account, email address, phone number, or personal profile.

How do I set up my channel after purchase?

If you purchase inside the iOS app, channel creation is handled in the app. If you purchase on the web, use Setup Vault and the app setup flow to attach your device to the pending channel.

Can I add someone to my channel?

Yes. The channel host can generate a one-time invite code or QR code from within the app. Share it privately with the person you want to add.

What happens if I lose my device?

Your channel access depends on cryptographic keys stored on your device. If those keys are lost, the server cannot recover them.

Is voice call audio stored?

No. Voice calls use encrypted signaling and no audio content, recordings, or transcripts are stored on our servers.

I purchased a channel but it is not showing up.
